Where to even begin... I visited the Museum of Science in Boston as a kid a few times, and the lightning exhibit really got my attention. My mom and I spoke to the guy there doing the presentation, and he recommended a Tesla Coil kit by a startup called OneTesla (unfortunately I think they have since gone out of business). Santa gave me one for Christmas and it was the coolest thing ever.
